Using Advanced Optimization Algorithms in Transport and Logistics turns the complex task of managing global transportation and logistics operations into a streamlined, efficient process. There will be a demonstration of powerful algorithms for integrated routing optimization solutions incorporating cartography and vehicle-routing algorithms. Vehicle Routing Problem (a combinatorial optimization problem) has a very high flexibility to accommodate exotic business-specific constraints and yet deliver high efficiency.
Using case studies, practical exercises and hands-on best practices, participants will learn best practices on how to apply these optimisation algorithms in their real-world transport and logistics operations to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction. At the end of the tutorial, participants can confidently implement the various optimisation techniques and techniques learned throughout the tutorial.
