The CETIC will present the progresses in the co-engineering of the security and safety of cyber-physical systems during the international workshop dedicated to this theme at the MEDI conference on October 24 in Marrakech.
Increasingly critical safety systems, including transportation systems, highly automated production lines, power generation systems are interconnected and subject to cybersecurity threats. The two dimensions of functional safety and security must be the subject of a joint study, combining the expertise and culture of these two domains.
In the framework of the project DIGITRANS, the experts of CETIC studied these two domains and identified possibilities of combination. The result of their work will be presented to the 2nd International Workshop on Cybersecurity and Functional Safety in Cyber-Physical Systems (IWCFS 2018) in order to share and compare them with approaches in other areas and by other international teams.
