On Tuesday June 2, 2009, CETIC will participate to the fourth IEEE International Workshop on UML and AADL in Postdam, Germany. This workshop is held in conjunction with the 14th International Conference on Engineering of Complex Computer Systems (ICECCS 2009).
CETIC’s objective is to present its paper entitled : "Towards a Model-Driven Approach for Mapping Requirements on AADL Architectures". This paper was put together in association with the CETIC’s Software & System Engineering (SSE) and Embedded & Communication Systems (ECS) departments.
The paper is about exploitation of model-based design methodologies and introduces a new mapping algorithm from the requirements towards an AADL (Architecture Analysis & Design Language) architecture.
Emphasis is specifically made on the integration of non-functional requirements (NFR), such as performance or power consumption which are as much important as functional requirements in real-time embedded systems.
