MORSE 2

MORSE2

Industrialisation and extension of modernisation tools for complex systems

Platform that integrates a set of software engineering tools and a process enabling a gradual evolution towards recent, efficient engineering approaches based on systems modeling (complex, long-life systems).

Domaine: Software industry

Factsheet:

Project team : Annick Majchrowski

Description

The aim of MORSE-2 is to industrialize and extend the methodology and tool platform by qualifying them in operational environments, thus bringing them to a level of technical maturity that will enable to market a service offering for the modernization of complex systems.

This methodology and tool platform were set up and validated in a Proof of Concept, as part of the first MORSE project.

The aim of MORSE projects is to design and develop new software design methods that enable existing complex systems to evolve without having to go through a complete re-implementation, based on the new technologies available, notably model-oriented and covering various stages of the life cycle from specifications, architecture, code derivation and testing. This project is part of the strategy of the new CONTRIBUTE innovation platform dedicated to Cyber-Physical Systems in the fields of Energy Conversion and Transportation.
